Palaeo Tours has been conducting tours to the fossil sites in the "Cradle of Humankind" since 1997. We have introduced thousands of people to the fascinating study of human origins. Our unique specialty is that we work intimately with the Palaeo-anthropologists and Archaeologists either running these sites or studying for their PhD's on topics based on the "Cradle" sites. Each tour helps to support these students during their graduate studies.

Our guides are comprised of both Palaeo-anthropologists and Archaeologists actively involved in the field. All our tours are private (no bus tours here!) and can be fully-tailored to the requirements of each group, whether it be an individual, a conference group or an alumni group. Please e-mail us for our costs or any questions you might have.

These include Passage to Africa, Wilderness Safaris, Abercrombie and Kent, Welcome Tours, Rennies Travel, SATOUR, Gauteng Tourism Authority and DACEL. We have been featured in Getaway Magazine and been filmed by E! - Wild ON as well as Star TV. Palaeo-Tours also appears in a number of guidebooks to southern Africa such as The Rough Guide and Frommer's.
